Privacy Policy
Planazing — Last updated: February 15, 2026
Planazing ("the App") is a travel planning app for photographers, developed by Luigi Trevisi ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.
1. Data We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we store your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided). You can sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple. If you use Apple's "Hide My Email", we only receive the relay address.
Content you create. Travels, locations, images, seasonal times, links, and notes you add are stored in our database. Location data includes coordinates and addresses you enter or select on the map.
Device and usage data. We collect anonymous analytics (screens viewed, features used) and crash reports to improve the app. This data does not identify you personally. When you send feedback via email, your message includes app version, device model, and iOS version to help us diagnose issues.
Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a device token to deliver updates about your travels (new members, invitations).
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide and operate the App (store your travels, sync across devices)
- Enable collaboration (sharing travels with other members)
- Send push notifications about travel updates you opted into
- Display weather forecasts for your saved locations
- Diagnose crashes and improve app stability
- Understand which features are used to guide development priorities
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following services to operate the App:
- Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, file storage, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications. Firebase Privacy
- Apple WeatherKit — weather forecasts for saved locations. Apple Privacy
- Open-Meteo — fallback weather data. Open-source, no personal data sent. Open-Meteo Terms
- Apple MapKit — map display and geocoding. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on Firebase servers (Google Cloud infrastructure) in the United States and European Union. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted through Firebase Security Rules that enforce per-user permissions.
The App supports offline use. Data is cached locally on your device and synced when connectivity returns.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account (Settings → Delete Account), we permanently remove:
- Your profile and account information
- Your travel memberships and bookmarks
- Images you uploaded
- Your push notification tokens
Travels and locations you created that are shared with other members remain accessible to those members. Anonymous analytics data is retained in aggregate form.
6. Your Rights
You can at any time:
- Access your data — all your content is visible in the App
- Edit your profile, travels, and locations directly in the App
- Export your data (available in Settings)
- Delete your account and associated data (Settings → Delete Account)
- Withdraw consent for push notifications via iOS Settings
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
